**Summary**

The Director of Culinary Services will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, development, and execution of Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House’s culinary vision. This role ensures that menu offerings remain innovative, operationally consistent, cost-effective, and aligned with the Stacked brand identity of comfort, indulgence, and family-friendly dining. The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, franchisees, and suppliers to maintain best-in-class quality and guest experiences while driving long-term culinary growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Menu Development & Innovation**
- Lead overall menu strategy to keep offerings competitive and aligned with evolving customer tastes.

**2. Operational Consistency**
- Standardize recipes, plating, and portion sizes across all locations.
- Develop and maintain detailed recipe cards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training guides.
- Partner with Operations and Training teams to ensure smooth and scalable rollouts of new menu items.

**3. Quality & Guest Experience**
- Maintain the highest standards of flavor, presentation, and freshness.
- Analyze guest feedback and sales data to refine and improve menu items.
- Lead culinary testing panels and incorporate feedback from franchisees, staff, and customers.

**4. Cost Management & Supply Chain**
- Collaborate with Procurement/Supply Chain to source high-quality, cost-effective ingredients.
- Manage food cost targets through recipe optimization and waste reduction.
- Negotiate with suppliers for product consistency, innovation, and favorable pricing.

**5. Franchise Support & Training Strategies**
- Serve as the primary culinary resource for franchisees and operations teams.
- Provide ongoing training to corporate kitchen managers and staff on best practices and new menu execution.
- Conduct regular menu audits to ensure compliance with standards.

**6. Cross-Department Collaboration**
- Partner with Marketing on menu launches, campaigns, photography, and storytelling.
- Collaborate with Finance on menu pricing and profitability analysis.
- Support Operations in designing labor-efficient menus and kitchen workflows.

**7. Vision & Brand Evolution**
- Act as the culinary face of the Stacked brand, positioning it as a leader in the breakfast and brunch segment.
- Drive the long-term culinary roadmap, balancing indulgence with health-conscious and family-friendly options.
- Monitor food and dining trends (e.g., plant-based, comfort nostalgia, functional foods) and integrate them strategically into the brand.
- Develop seasonal specials, limited-time offers (LTOs), and new core menu items.
- Ensure all new items balance culinary innovation with the Stacked brand DNA

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Proven experience as a senior culinary leader in a multi-unit restaurant or franchise environment.
- Strong expertise in menu development, recipe standardization, and culinary innovation.
- Excellent understanding of food cost management, supply chain collaboration, and vendor negotiations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, train staff, and support franchisees.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with marketing, finance, and operations.
- Passionate about guest experience, food trends, and brand evolution.

**Success in this Role Will Be Measured By**:

- Timely and error-free delivery of new menu items and rollouts.
- Achievement of food cost and quality targets.
- Positive franchisee and guest feedback on menu consistency and innovation.
- Effective implementation of long-term culinary strategies that strengthen the Stacked brand.

**Call-To-Action**

Pay: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
