**About Velocity Prep**

Velocity Prep is Canada’s leading police applicant mentorship program, helping future officers prepare for every stage of the hiring process — from written exams to interviews and fitness testing. Led by a former Chief of Police, our team provides high-quality training, coaching, and community support to help applicants succeed in joining the force.

**Role Overview**

We’re looking for an experienced **Written Exam Instructor** to lead our live online coaching sessions for RCMP, municipal, and other local police service written exams.

Each live session runs for about **one hour**, structured in two parts:

- **Practice Section**: You’ll present exam-style questions, allow students time to answer, and simulate test conditions.
- **Coaching Section**: You’ll walk through each question in detail — breaking down the reasoning, strategies, and correct answers while teaching test-taking skills and explaining common mistakes.

This is a part-time, flexible position with the opportunity to grow into larger roles as Velocity Prep expands.

**Responsibilities**
- Host live online written exam prep sessions for RCMP, municipal, and local agencies.
- Provide clear explanations, test strategies, and reasoning for all practice questions.
- Support and engage with students through Q&A and feedback.
- (Optional but preferred) Contribute additional practice questions or materials to expand our question bank.
- Collaborate with the Velocity Prep team to refine and improve training content over time.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience with **RCMP**, **municipal**, or **local police written exams** (as an applicant, officer, or instructor).
- Strong understanding of written exam formats, question types, and effective test strategies.
- Confident communicator and engaging instructor — comfortable teaching online.
- Reliable internet connection and professional presentation skills.
- Must be based in Canada.

**Nice to Have**
- Existing question bank or written exam prep materials.
- Previous experience in adult education, tutoring, or coaching.
- Background in policing, corrections, or law enforcement training.
