We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of Business Analyst to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks.

**Typical Day in Role**:

- Lead discussions with various stakeholders across different teams (technology, compliance, trade desk, internal controls)
- Utilize understanding of the trade order lifecycle and order data (across OTC derivatives and listed products)
- Attending meetings to understand scope of the work
- Documentation and gather requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
- Work with work with both technical and business resources, as well as respective leads with given workstreams
- Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide

technical solutions to meet user needs
- Manage JIRA tickets
- Create and manage data mapping documents, test cases & testing of items developed
- Updating knowledge base
- Data reconciliation
- Create Elastic Search queries to determine data/ETL requirements for the project

1. 8+ years as a Business Systems Analyst and/or Data Analyst with strong documentation and testing experience
2. 5+ years’ experience within Capital Markets
- Ideally has experience across various asset classes (OTC derivatives, Fixed income etc.)
3. Demonstratable experience independently communicating with various stakeholders (e.g. trade desk, vendors, technology teams, etc.)
5. Previous Data Modeling experience

**Nice-To-Have Skills**:

- Experience with Elasticsearch - commonly used engine for pulling data
- Experience with Python - Scripting, to access and manipulate data
- Trade surveillance experience

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

Pay: $70.00-$80.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
