**About the Opportunity**:
The complete job duties for the Ward Clerk are outlined in the job description and include:

- Patient registration
- Filing
- Processing physician orders
- Distribution of reports
- Data entry on NSHiS
- Typing correspondence and reports using medical terminology
- Receipt and distribution of mail
- Maintaining workload and statistical data
- Other job related duties

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Grade 12
- Completion of a one (1) year Secretarial or Business Course
- Basic Computer Skills
- Medical Terminology
- Ability to attend work on a regular basis
- Experience in a health care setting is considered an asset
- Organizational skills
- Communication/interpersonal skills
- Ability to work without supervision
- Ability to work in a busy area, adapt to frequent interruptions and to stressful situations
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Hours**:

- Long Assignment / 100% FTE / 75 Hours Bi-weekly

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$20.09 - $21.91 Hourly
