**TELECOM STRUCTURAL ANALYST**
Design Critical Infrastructure - Build the Future at Encepta
**Why this Role**
**What You’ll Be Responsible For**
As a Structural Analyst, you'll:
- Perform outside plant telecommunications design, including civil and cable design for various network types
- Utilize software like IKE Office, QuickPole, and SPIDAcalc to analyze and design structural telecom elements
- Conduct site visits to collect measurements, observations, and photos
- Assist with project management from inception to completion
- Communicate with fielders and clients to ensure accurate data and build positive relationships
**What Success Looks Like**
Within your first 12-18 months, you'll be:
- Performing structural analysis on telecommunications infrastructure projects independently
- Supporting junior team members with technical guidance
- Contributing to process improvements for structural analysis workflows
**What We're Looking For**
- **Education & Experience**: University/College degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with 3-5 years of experience in structural and design work for civil, utility or telecom related projects; E.I.T. registration required
- **Technical Skills**: Experience with IKE Office, QuickPole, SPIDAcalc, AutoCAD, and telecom design methods (GPON, FTTx, etc.); proficient in Nonlinear FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
- **Collaboration & Communication**: Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively with clients and field teams to ensure accurate data collection and build positive relationships
- **Problem-Solving & Adaptability**: Organized and results-focused with strong problem-solving abilities; capable of managing multiple ongoing projects with changing deliverables and priorities
