- Blackbird Security is seeking a _**Asset Protection Site Manger,** _ **(1-year Contract)**_in Delta, BC_
- **Role Summary**_
As the **Asset Protection Site Manger** you will support the day-to-day security operations of the Delta DC, including training employees, attending leadership meetings, conducting investigations, supporting with security technology install and service requests, as well as maintaining the overall physical security of the building(ie. Access control, CCTV, Intrusion Systems). Will assist from time to time with our other local DC.
- **What You’ll do**_
- _Manage and coordinate daily security activities across the Distribution Center to ensure a safe and secure environment for all personnel and assets._
- _Conduct and oversee the training of security personnel, ensuring all staff are well-versed in security protocols, emergency procedures, and the use of security equipment._
- _Regularly update training materials and conduct refresher courses to maintain high standards of security awareness among employees._
- _Attend and actively participate in leadership meetings, providing insights and updates on security operations, risks, and incident management._
- _Collaborate with other departments to ensure security considerations are integrated into broader operational strategies and plans._
- _Lead investigations into security incidents such as theft, breaches, and other safety concerns._
- _Prepare detailed reports and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences._
- _Coordinate with law enforcement or external agencies when necessary._
- _Assist with the installation, maintenance, and servicing of security technology systems, including Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection Systems._
- _Ensure all security systems are fully operational, regularly updated, and meet the required standards for the facility._
- _Monitor and manage the physical security of the facilities, including access control points, surveillance systems, and intrusion detection._
- _Regularly inspect and assess the security infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement or upgrades to maintain optimal security levels._
- **Who You Are**_
- _Valid BC Security License._
- _Valid Loss Prevention Certifications (CPP, PCI, LPC, and/or CSS) are strong assets._
- _Wicklander-Zulawski (WZ) Certification in interviewing and interrogation techniques is highly preferred._
- _Proficient with MS Office Suite._
- _Previous security experience in a warehouse environment is required._
- _Prior experience leading teams is essential._
- _Flexibility to work after hours if needed to respond to urgent situations._
- _Proficiency in English (spoken, written, and electronic communication)._
- _Willingness to attend meetings and training to improve skills._
- _Knowledgeable in safety processes and procedures._
- _Personal vehicle required for site attendance._

Pay: $72,000.00-$83,000.00 per year
