Seasonal Warehouse Assembler and Delivery Associate

This Position is a Full Time Seasonal Contract until September 2025 - Ideal for a student.

**Duties**:
Assembly: Assembling BBQ grills Porky's, ensuring our high quality standards.

Preparing orders for retail delivery. Helping with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles at our customers homes while assisting with routing and delivery processes.

Cleaning and Maintaining Work Areas: Keeping the warehouse and showroom clean, tidy, and safe.

Following Safety Procedures: Adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.

Communicating with Team Members: Communicating with supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Stock Organization: Arranging shelves, picking out products for packaging, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory counts, ensuring accurate stock levels, and labeling goods correctly.

Customer Service: Interacting with customers in a friendly and professional way.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers.A genuine desire to help people by going the extra mile and a healthy respect for co-workers are absolutely essential qualities.

Punctual attendance.

Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand diagrams, instructions, and specifications. Handy with tools. Ability to learn and follow verbal and written Instructions. Ability to identify and resolve assembly issues.

Valid Driver’s License (to drive various company vehicles) with a Clean drivers abstract.

Positive attitude with good customer service and communication skills.

Physical Ability: Ability to lift 150lbs and move heavy items safely using provided material handling equipment, including BBQs and hot tubs.

Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively with team members and potentially delivery partners.

Time Management: Ability to complete assembly tasks efficiently and on time.

Safety Knowledge: Understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform calculations related to inventory management and other tasks.

Experience: Previous experience in retail, assembly, or delivery may be beneficial.

Must be able to work Saturdays (9-4)

An interest in barbecues, hot tubs and fireplaces is always welcome

Compensation and Benefits: No less than 34 hours per week, starting at $17.75/hour.

Daytime scheduling and no late nights, we are open Monday to Saturday until 5pm.
