**As an Insurance Claims Examiner, you will play a critical role in managing and resolving claims efficiently and effectively.**

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Analyze claims and disputes to assess entitlement and quantify losses.
- Prepare and organize documentation for internal use and external communication during the claims process.
- Support negotiations directly with Owners, Subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Compile and maintain production records to support Mediation, Arbitration, or Litigation proceedings.
- Review construction contracts and assist the team in claims recovery efforts.
- Evaluate spreadsheets, invoices, and various reports to ensure accurate and timely claims documentation.

**Is This the Right Role for You?**
- Post-secondary education (college or university) is required; equivalent academic qualifications may be considered.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance claims handling (including auto, property, and general liability), with a strong emphasis on construction-related claims.
- Familiarity with insurance policies and construction contracts is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
- Experience reviewing contracts, financial statements, proof of loss documents, and police reports is an asset.
