**Job Posting: Process Server (Independent Contractor - Part-Time)**

**Location**: Greater Vancouver & Fraser Valley (Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Mission)

**Expedited Motion Process Serving Ltd.** is hiring a professional and dependable **Process Server** to work as an **independent contractor**. We are a growing legal support company serving law firms across **Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley**. This role is ideal for someone based in or near **Surrey, Langley, or Abbotsford** who is seeking **flexible part-time work** during evenings and weekends.

**Role Summary**
- Serve legal documents to individuals, businesses, and organizations as directed
- Make up to **three attempts per job** at varying times (morning, afternoon, evening)
- Record and report service attempts using our **internal tracking system**:

- Follow daily service routes assigned by the company
- Assemble and print documents (printer and supplies provided)
- Meet weekly with a company commissioner to sign affidavits

**Compensation**
- **$19.00 - $25.00/hour**:

- **Monthly gas stipend**: $175 to $350 depending on route distance
- **Additional compensation** for printing and preparing documents
- **Paid bi-weekly or monthly via cheque**

**Schedule**
- **15-20 hours/week**, mostly evenings and weekends
- Assignments provided on an **as-needed basis**:

- Flexible work hours and independent field work

**What We Provide**
- Daily route planning and service instruction sheets
- All printing equipment and office supplies (printer, paper, ink, clips)
- Weekly access to an in-house commissioner for affidavit signing
- Clear job expectations and respectful communication

**Requirements**:

- Based in or near **Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford, or Maple Ridge**:

- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Ability to print legal documents from home
- Organized and professional under pressure
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own field work

**Assets (Preferred but Not Required)**
- Experience in legal, security, law enforcement, investigations, or courier work
- Familiarity with court documents or affidavit procedures
- Background in criminology, legal studies, or paralegal training

**Additional preference will be given to students or alumni of**:
