**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses in a timely manner.
- Analyze financial data to identify potential deductions and credits.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial records.
- Assist clients with accounts payable processes and payroll management.
- Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks, to manage client accounts effectively.
- Provide guidance on budgeting strategies to help clients optimize their financial health.
- Conduct financial auditing as necessary to ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address questions or concerns regarding their tax situations.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in tax preparation or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of budgeting, payroll, and accounts payable processes is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $16.55-$30.02 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
