**WORK ILLUSTRATION**:
The Regulatory Affairs Administrator provides administrative support in the day-to-day operation of several departments: Regulatory Analytics, Government Relations, Municipal Relations and Regulatory Applications. This includes assisting with the implementation of regulatory strategy, plans and processes. The incumbent will play an active role in internal and external information and document tracking, processing, and reporting.

The incumbent is expected to behave ethically and follow the established code of business conduct, policies and internal control procedures, laws and regulations governing Toronto Hydro.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Although the incumbent reports to the Director, Energy Policy and Government Relations, they also provide day-to-day administrative and clerical support the Director, Regulatory Application and Business Support, and the Senior Manager, Decarbonization Strategy and Municipal Relations, and all three of these Regulatory Affairs teams.
- Schedules meetings and appointments, manages meeting preparation and follow-up, synthesizes required documents/data to assist leaders in making informed decisions, budget analysis, invoicing and expense claims preparation.
- Provides support to federal, provincial, and municipal government relations activities such as; tracking and monitoring external events and initiatives, and assisting with related organizational reporting.
- Maintains and manages departmental record-keeping system based on recognized records management practices.
- Receives incoming correspondence and inquiries on behalf of the Regulatory Affairs Departments, acting as the main point of contact for the input/output of documentation.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Undergraduate/ Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, political science, business administration, or related field required.
- One (1) to three (3) years of administrative experience, preferably a legal, regulatory, or large corporate environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines; time management skills; and office management skills. Uses time well; prioritizes and completes work within deadlines (breaks down work into process/steps), orchestrates multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to provide courteous, reliable administrative support that demonstrates a commitment to high quality customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Works well in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptable to changing situations and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
- Ability to find innovative and creative solutions to solve problems and get work done (with little direction).

Toronto Hydro has introduced a Hybrid Work Arrangement. This position allows for remote work up to three days per week, based on business needs. Employees will be required to come onsite on those days when they are involved in activities that they or their leader feel are better conducted in person.
