If you have a deep commitment to offering respectful, empathetic care and want to be part of a team that truly values your dedication, we would love to hear from you **Key Responsibilities**: - Personal Care_: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Basic Health Monitoring_: Observe and report changes in the client's condition. - Medication Assistance_: Remind clients to take medications as prescribed and assist with self-administered medications. - Household Management_: Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. Ensure a safe and tidy living environment. - Companionship_: Engage clients in meaningful activities and conversations to promote mental and emotional well-being. Accompany clients on outings, errands, and recreational activities. - Assistance with Medical Equipment_: Help clients use medical equipment such as walkers, and wheelchairs following proper instructions and training. - Communication and Reporting_: Maintain clear and accurate records of care provided and changes in client conditions. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Report any incidents, concerns, or changes in client health to supervisors promptly. - Adherence to Care Plans_: Follow individualized care plans and ensure compliance with all agency policies and procedures. Participate in regular training and development activities to stay updated on best practices. **Qualifications**: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification. - CPR and First Aid certification. - Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to provide compassionate and respectful care. - Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. - Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and transferring clients. - Empathy, patience, and resilience. - Reliability and dependability. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call hours. - Multilingual skills are considered an asset. **Working Conditions**: - Work primarily in clients' homes. - Travel within the Windsor, Ontario area. - Flexible scheduling with potential for evening, weekend, and on-call shifts. **Compensation and Benefits**: - Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications. - Benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities. - Mileage reimbursement for travel between clients' homes. **Application Process**: **APPLY NOW (CLICK AND FILL THE FORM)** **About Us**: The Noble Oak Home Care Agency is an equal-opportunity employer.
