**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Carpentry & Custom Builds: Assist in building, maintaining, and repairing Glow's diverse range of event products, including custom backdrops, props, and décor elements.
- Creative Project Work: Bring creative and artistic ideas to life for special event builds, ensuring a high-quality and functional result.
- General Maintenance: Handle repairs on a variety of Glow’s rental products, including tents, inflatables, and event equipment, ensuring everything is in top condition for rental.
- Use of Power Tools & Equipment: Proficiently use power tools and woodworking equipment to complete tasks with precision and safety.
- Creativity & Problem-Solving: Take on challenging repair and build projects with a positive attitude, contributing innovative solutions to any issues that arise.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance team and other departments to execute projects for events, including installs and on-site builds.
- Timely Repairs: Ensure that items marked for repairs are fixed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Shop Organization & Maintenance: Keep your workspace clean and organized, and assist in shop cleanup at the end of each day.
- Flexibility & Teamwork: Participate in a flexible, team-oriented environment where tasks and priorities may shift quickly to meet deadlines and customer needs.

**Qualifications**
- Experience: Minimum 4 year carpentry experience in a construction, fabrication, or maintenance environment, with a focus on general repairs. A mix of education and experience will be considered.
- Problem-Solving: Comfortable with tackling unfamiliar projects and taking initiative to find solutions.
- Creative Thinking: Ability to create artistic and functional builds, with an understanding of when projects need to be quick and functional versus polished and detailed.
- Power Tool Proficiency: Comfortable using a variety of power tools and equipment in the workshop.
- Physical Fitness: Able to lift 65lbs or more and perform tasks requiring full range of motion and dexterity.
- Drivers License: Hold a class 5 license with a clean driver's abstract with experience driving trailers and cube vans (preferred).
- Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks with precision.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities, both with the team and supervisors, ensuring smooth workflow and understanding of tasks.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt and shift tasks based on priority needs and project timelines.
- Eagerness to Learn: Always open to learning new skills and improving existing knowledge.
- Positive Attitude: A can-do, team-focused attitude and an eagerness to contribute to the company’s growth.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
