ScanDesigns was founded in 1976 and is a locally owned family-run company. We have 6 stores and a main distribution centre. We are looking for a **Customer Service Associate** to work closely with our Warehouse Manager at our Distribution Centre. Your primary role will be the go-to person for all customer service issues and be considered the resolution specialist in sorting all service-related issues between our vendors and our customers. Problem-solving and efficient execution of problem-solving will be your passion.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Answering incoming phone calls
- Create daily delivery schedules
- Contact customers regarding delivery & service appointments
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open

and interactive communication
- Identify customer service issues and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents
- Assisting with light warehouse duties, including part inspections and keeping an orderly environment, etc. Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
- Completing additional project work and assigned tasks when required

Skills & Attributes:

- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
- Takes accountability, identifies, executes, and drives actions to consistently achieve desired results.
- Able to follow and carry out instructions with mínimal supervision.
- Strong organization and clear and effective written and oral communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter, resourceful, and solution-oriented.
- Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities
- Immaculate accuracy and attention to detail.
- Punctual and reliable, with a positive, flexible attitude and strong work ethic.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficient with computer systems (i.e.: Microsoft Office) Able to learn any new programs quickly is a definite asset.

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Coquitlam, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 2 years (required)
