**Position Summary**:
An introduction to the musical cultures of the world and the function of music in society. Particular attention will also be given to global musics, musics of the diaspora, and musical migration in the modern world.
**Qualifications - Required**: Ph.D. in ethnomusicology, musicology, or appropriate DMA. Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level.
