Specific Shifts Required:

- Tuesdays: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Takes responsibility for cash handling procedures related to the Halfway House. Takes responsibility for counter service and dispensing of alcoholic beverages in the Half Way House. Takes responsibility for housekeeping duties in the Halfway House and as assigned. Half Way House Servers are an integral part of the golf experience and are expected to display a positive, outgoing and engaging attitude while providing excellent customer service. Advises the Food and Beverage Manager of issues related to guest satisfaction and items relating to facilities management. SmartServe training is required for this position. Reports to the Food and Beverage Manager.

Job Tasks/Duties:

- Perform opening and closing duties for the Halfway House.
- Provide service to maintain maximum guest satisfaction.
- Perform POS and electronic banking transactions.
- Takeresponsibility for cash balancing of POS transactions and floats in the Halfway House
- Take responsibility for inventory control in the Halfway House.
- Perform food preparation in accordance with menu design. Take responsibility for portion control to maintain food costs within established parameters.
- Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with AGCO regulations.
- Provide counter service to guests
- Restock refrigerators from storage inventory.
- Perform proper storage of inventory deliveries. Take responsibility for stock rotation and proper food storage to reduce waste and ensure food safety.
- Takes responsibility for daily security of the Half Way House.
- Maintain compliance with Health Board and other jurisdictional requirements regarding food handling, preparation, and sanitation.
- Maintain compliance with AGCO requirements for the purchase, sale and serving of alcoholic beverages.
- Perform housekeeping activities in and around the Halfway House including the public washrooms.
- Perform recycling procedures for cardboard, cans, bottles and returnable containers.
- Ensure a safe environment for employees and guests using the Half Way House facilities

- Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, sweeping floors, washing dishes
