Orleans, Canada Orleans Family Health Clinic Full time

Family Medicine Clinic is looking for an experienced **Personal Support Worker (PSW) **to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide comprehensive health care to clients and patients of all ages within the R.N.’s scope of practice according to the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Practice.

**Duties**:

- Patient Placing
- Blood Pressure and other clinical measurements
- Providing support to Physicians in the Clinic, as required
- Assist in referring clients to specialists, hospital and/or community agencies as needed
- Assisting with allergy testing under physician supervision
- Reception duties when needed
- Other duties as advised by Supervisor or designate

Qualifications:

- **Current PSW qualification and designation**:

- Experience in community health and/or family practice setting
- Clinical practice experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency using computers and Electronic Medical Records (Telus PS Suite EMR)
- Flexibility to work some evenings
- Bilingual English-French is an asset.

This is a Part-Time position that may lead to Full-Time based on performance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Part-time hours: 18-38 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
