**Job Overview**
Blessed Generations Academy Maple Ridge is looking for experienced staff for our Out Of School Care program responsible for upholding the philosophy and Christian values.

Preferred Qualifications

- Out Of School Program Leader
- Early Childhood Educator Assistant or Responsible Adult

This position is ideal for someone who desires to work from 2:00-6:00 PM with the opportunity for more hours if wanted with subbing in our daycare and preschool facilities during the mornings/days or working longer hours on Professional Days and during school break times such as Spring Break, Winter Break and Summer Break.

**Qualifications**
- Strong interest and appreciation in Christian based childcare and school
- Knowledge in the the Holy Bible to guide and lead children with the Christian principal
- Ability to participate in any parts of our program relating to the Christian faith.
- Love for children and passion in working with elementary school age children
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
- Creativity, initiative, enthusiasm, and a sense of humor.
- Physical fitness (e.g. Ability to run) and willingness to engage in age appropriate activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team.
- Well-developed interpersonal, conflict resolution, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to follow, facilitate and adapt lesson plans.
- Ability to follow and implement behavior management plans and strategies.
- Holding a valid certification of 20 hour Responsible Adult or Early Childhood Education Assistant in BC
- Valid first aid certification
- Clear Criminal record check
- 3 Professional or Character References
- 19 years of age or older

**Duties**:

- Plan, organize, and implement group
- based recreational, social, and educational activities that is reflective of BGA’s Christian values and compliant with child care regulations
- Create and maintain a safe, respectful, caring learning environment
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Out Of School Care programme
- Maintain accurate records and document necessary information and events on a daily basis
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$30.00 per hour

- working with school age children: 1 year (required)

- ECE Assistant or Responsible Adult Certification (required)
- Class 4 unrestricted diver license to drive a school bus (required)
