In this capacity, you will be a key member of the warehouse team responsible for ensuring the overall success of warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, inventory control, storage, replenishment, packing, staging, shipping, and maintaining a safe and lean work environment. You will also work closely with your peers in Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics to ensure efficient warehouse operations, and seamless information flow through SAP.
**How you might spend your days**

- Loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper documentation and handling
- Handling order-picking, packing, and staging activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Appropriately transporting the shipment of goods, accurately preparing bills of lading, and ensuring proper packaging of goods
- Safely operating equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, battery charging equipment, pallet wrappers, pallet changers, compactors, dock levelers, etc.
- Utilizing several devices such as Radio frequency technology (RFID), scanners, and others to read barcodes and transfer product information, quantities and location information directly into our warehouse management system
- Performing regular inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating replenishment activities to avoid shortages
- Processing production orders and delivering on time
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce waste
**We’d love to hear from you if**
- You hold a high school diploma or equivalent and an associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- You have proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a similar role
- You have experience in a GMP/GDP environment
- You have a strong understanding of inventory management, logistics, and warehouse processes
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- You have experience in SAP or similar ERP systems
- You are physically able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods, including lifting and standing
- You are comfortable working in a warehouse environment, including exposure to varying temperatures (e.g., cold room from 2º to 8º C)
- You are available to work shifts, including occasional evenings and weekends
- You hold a Forklift certification or are able to obtain one
**What we offer**
AbCellera’s hiring range for this role is CAD $54,500 - $68,000 annually, commensurate with your education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we offer equity, annual bonus dependent on team and company performance, and a 6% (non-match) RRSP contribution.
You will have a CAD $1,500 annual Active Lifestyle Allowance, annual vacation, professional development opportunities, and comprehensive health benefits. Scientific and technical mentorship is a priority. And you’ll find we prioritize teams and social groups to build community and connections across AbCellera.
**About AbCellera**
AbCellera is a global company focused on delivering breakthrough medicines that alleviate suffering, extend lives, and improve health. Our platform includes fully integrated capabilities to create first-in-class and best-in-class antibody medicines, from discovery to clinical manufacturing.
We are using our technological advantage to develop programs across multiple indications including endocrine and metabolic conditions, oncology, and inflammation and autoimmunity. We’re advancing programs involving complex transmembrane proteins, bispecifics, and antibody drug conjugates.
Creating medicines is the most important work we can do. When tenacious people share a vision and work together, they can truly have a positive impact. That’s why we hire for character and intelligence, not just for CVs or experience.
We look for people with drive and energy. People we trust. People who need to know their days are being well spent. That their work really matters. In the end, our success will be measured by the impact of our medicines.
