**SUMMARY**:
Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of Crown Isle’s Villa Resort Centre and providing customers with quality service in a timely and friendly manner. A Housekeeper promotes a positive image of Crown Isle Resort and Golf Community and must be pleasant, friendly, and able to address special requests and/or problems from our guests.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Greet all guests in a sincere and friendly manner, always ensuring a high level of guest service.
- Clean and maintain the appearance of guest accommodations.
- Load linens and cleaning supplies / equipment into and drive a golf cart from the main Housekeeping facility to the individual Guest Villa buildings.
- Vacuum, strip used linens and remake beds with clean linens in prescribed manner, dust, clean and sanitize kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms, bedrooms, fireplaces, balconies/patio’s and any other areas of the guest accommodations.
- Restock housekeeping stations in villa storage closets
- Collect and transport garbage / recycling to garbage / recycling containers, as necessary.
- Provide special housekeeping service (such as setting up cots, making beds, changing sheets or replacing used towels and toiletries) to guest rooms upon request from the front desk.
- Report any maintenance problems in guest accommodations or public areas to Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Become familiar with and have a good understanding of all Policies and Procedures for the Resort Housekeeping function.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required. Shift schedules may vary, based upon the needs of the business.

**ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE**:
Housekeeper reports directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Housekeeping is a vital piece of the overall guest experience at Crown Isle and Golf Community

**COMMUNICATION**:
Housekeepers will maintain effective communication with guests and fellow team members. Specific forms of communication include actively listening to guests’ issues or problems, finding solutions to those problems, and working in partnership with the rest of the Housekeeping/ Accommodations Team.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

**EDUCATION**

Knowledge of WHMIS - Workplace Hazardous Material Information Systems is an asset

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**:
Housekeepers must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memorandums. They must have the ability to effectively present information both in one on one, and small group situations with guests and fellow team members.

**REASON ABILITY**:
Housekeepers must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. They must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.

Must be well organized and able to work unsupervised

Must have Stamina as Housekeeping is a very physical job

Housekeepers must have vision abilities required by this job to include short-distance vision and long-distance vision.

Must be able to safely drive a motorized golf cart.
