**Responsibilities**:

- **Operate Commercial Vehicles Safely**:

- Drive A-Z commercial vehicles locally and over long distances, adhering to all federal and provincial transportation regulations.
- **Flatbed Load Handling**:
Safely secure and transport loads using tarps, chains, straps, and other securement tools, ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards. Accurately maintain electronic logbooks and utilize onboard communication and navigation tools in accordance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance concerns. Assist with manual loading/unloading when necessary, handling freight of up to 50 lbs. Stay informed of and follow all road, transport, and workplace safety rules, including cross-border regulations if applicable. Maintain regular communication with dispatch to provide updates on deliveries, delays, and any incidents or mechanical issues. Keep trucks clean and well-maintained, promptly reporting issues for repair. Represent the company professionally during all customer interactions and uphold a high standard of conduct at customer sites. Work closely with dispatch, operations, and safety teams to meet delivery timelines and respond to scheduling changes.
