**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their purchases.
- Accurately process transactions using the cash register or point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the customer experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely and responsibly.
- Assist patients with questions regarding medications or pharmacy services.
- Collaborate with pharmacy team to ensure proper medication administration when necessary.
- Stay informed about medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Uphold company policies and procedures regarding patient confidentiality and safety.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting as needed.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
