**Position Summary**:
Working with the Manager, Maintenance Technical Center, this position is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of schedule-based maintenance activities for various business units within the GTAA. The Schedule Coordinator role is positioned to support the flow of passengers, aircraft and baggage at Toronto Pearson by ensuring mínimal operational impact is experienced as a result of maintenance related functions.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Influence the priority of planned work for weekly scheduling with Functional Managers (FM) and Technical Specialists/Supervisors (TS) based on available and/or conflicting equipment and workforce resource needs
- Lead weekly scheduling & forecast meetings with FM and TS teams to coordinate and build a weekly plan for section maintenance activities through; review of the Draft Schedule, discussion of any concerns and resolving issues until general agreement is reached
- Discuss required system outages to build and/or maintain approved weekly/bi-weekly schedules with system owners, operators and/or partners
- Attend daily briefings involving various partners, providing information pertaining to the daily operation to schedule and coordinate work
- Interact with contractors & understand their daily/weekly objectives, obtain relevant information relating to work management, and understand the potential impact on operational systems
- Accountable for the coordination and influence of Airfield Electrical Closures and to ensure each closure has a pre-determined recall time needed for the maintenance crews to safely move equipment, tools and crews out of the construction zone in order for aircraft to pass safely
- Deliver comprehensive weekly/bi-weekly scheduled work forecast identifying all planned work (regardless of type) for review and approval based on resource availability and input from functional areas
- Submit airside permit requests for planned work and collaborate with the airside permits group to minimize work schedule forecast adjustments, airside operational disruptions and enhance execution of planned work
- Monitor, compile and report the schedule attainment of repair, project and preventative maintenance work programs
- Monitor Benchmark metrics, identify trends and adjust the maintenance schedule to achieve the daily/ weekly goals
- Develop and lead initiatives with GTAA operational partners (RMU, etc.) to improve maintenance forecasting and scheduling abilities in relation to baggage and passenger boarding bridges
- Create and assist in the development and implementation of recommendations for Maintenance Program(s) to enhance operational use and life expectancy of plant and equipment

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma
- Facility Management Professional (FMP), Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) Certificates and/or 5+ years’ experience in an asset management role
- Experience working with airport systems such as: baggage systems, passenger boarding bridges, storm water facilities, sprinkler systems, lighting, and other mechanical and architectural systems
- Experience manipulating and understanding various data sets to articulate maintenance priorities and to propose maintenance, scheduling and coordination strategies
- 3-5 years in a large dynamic maintenance facility is preferred
- Valid Ontario 'G' Class Driver’s License
- Demonstrated experience working in a customer centric environment
- Able to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Knowledge of the GTAA maintenance systems, standards and requirements
- Knowledge of EAM operations and systems maintenance requirements
- Advanced knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling and all aspects of work management processes and procedures
- Ability to create maintenance work labour estimates
- Knowledge of inventory control practices and procedures
- Knowledge of procurement process
- Knowledge of Equipment Life Cycle and Asset Management Programs
- Knowledge of GTAA record keeping policies and practices
- Excellent oral, written and listening communication skills
