We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated & passionate people to join our team We strive to attract employees who have an enthusiasm and passion for enthusiastic customer service and great drinks** Having experience working with customer service, fast-paced environment, food, and beverage experience is an asset but not a requirement. Functions of this job entail cash handling at the POS, customer service, sales & daily routine cleanliness & maintenance, tea and drink preparation, and various other duties required in a cafe. **Store Location**: 20-2443 161A Street, Surrey, B.C. V3S 0M6 **Key Qualifications**: - Food & Beverage experience (1+ years) considered an asset; - Strong customer service skills; - Enjoys working independently and in a team setting; - Excellent communication skills; - Self-motivated, organized, and excels under pressure in a fast-paced environment; - Must be able to work flexible hours including morning, late nights, weekends, and holidays; - Must be available to work weekends and weekdays; **Job Duties include**: - Process cash, debit, and credit card payments; - Drink and topping preparation; - Routine cleaning & maintenance; - Various cafe duties; - Capable of lifting up to 25 kg. **Required education**: - High school graduate or equivalent and higher - Food handler and First Aid certification considered an asset but not required **Operating Hours & Availability**: ** or Part-time** **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $16.75-$18.50 per hour **Benefits**: - Discounted or free food - Flexible schedule - On-site parking - Store discount Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Evening shift - Holidays - Monday to Friday - Weekends as needed Supplemental pay types: - Tips Ability to commute/relocate: - White Rock, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Secondary School (required) Shift availability: - Day Shift (preferred) - Night Shift (preferred) Work Location: In person
