**Responsibilities**:
**What does your day look like?**:
As a **Radiation Protection Technician**, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and success of the project. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Operating process equipment to meet remedial objectives under the guidance of project and technical management
- Maintaining and calibrating specialized equipment such as alpha/beta data loggers, gamma meters, sample counters, and air monitors
- Conducting data measurements and sampling in the field using the necessary field equipment, probes, detectors, or meters
- Communicating daily project updates with the radiation protection technician team and project team
- Ensuring that all required daily, weekly, and monthly surveys are completed

Qualifications:
**What do you need to succeed?**:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:

- ** Strong problem-solving** and **observational skills**:

- The ability to work **autonomously** and take initiative in a remote site setting
- ** Training in radiation safety** (an asset, but not required; onsite training will be provided)
- ** Physical capability** to perform tasks, including lifting up to 25 kg
- Experience in **fly-in/fly-out roles** (preferred)
- ** High School Diploma** or equivalent
- A **valid driver’s license** (an asset)
- Health and safety training or **remote site training** (an asset)
- ** Bilingual** in English and French (an asset)
