Join our growing team at McRae’s Environmental We are excited to be adding team members to our hydro excavation crews. Fast paced and physical work with an opportunity to train as an equipment operator.

Hydro excavation is using pressurized water and vacuum to remove soil. This type of excavation is primarily used to safely dig around underground utilities. As a Hydrovac labourer you will help safely operate the truck. This includes:

- Setting up vacuum tubes
- Operating the pressurized water gun
- Laying out hose
- Spotting (backing up the truck, observing blind spots)
- Communicating with customers

We are looking for individuals who are:

- Adaptable
- Physically fit
- Team players
- Available for overtime

Preference given to those with:

- Class 5 Driver's license
- Mechanical aptitude
- Interested in upgrading to an Operator in the future

McRae's Environmental is a hydrovac company in AB & BC with branches in Edmonton, Richmond, & Victoria. We are a union shop and an equal opportunity employer. Hydro excavation is our primary business however we also do sewer line flushing, CCTV pipe inspection and more. As a labourer you will have the opportunity to work in these areas as well. Our company is growing, and we always look to promote our labourers to operators first.

Note: All employees are required to work around sewage from time to time.

Pay: $24.16 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
