**What you will do**
- Establish a strong security presence to deescalate and diffuse situations as needed
- Use a high level of understanding and empathy to interact with individuals on site
- Patrol the premises, provide access control and respond to emergency situations in an appropriate and timely manner
- Perform safety and security duties with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
- Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents
- Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients, customers and patrons
- Respond to emergencies and escalate to law enforcement agencies as required
- A Valid Security License
- Willing to stand for the entire duration of the shift
- Previous security experience is required
- Prior police / military experience is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to attend meetings and improve skills
- Ability to work without close supervision
- Use of Force Certification is an asset

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
