**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **API Automation Testing**:
Design, develop, and execute automated API tests and frameworks to validate functionality and performance.
- **UI Automation Testing**:
Design, develop, and execute automated UI tests and frameworks to ensure user interface reliability.
- **Guidewire Testing**:

- **Test Analysis & Reporting**:
Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide detailed reports with improvement recommendations.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**:
Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- **Monitoring & Metrics**:
Implement and monitor automation metrics to ensure consistent test execution performance.
- **Documentation**:
Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, scripts, results, and JIRA QE boards.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- **Experience**:

- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in Guidewire software
- Tools: Selenium, Postman, SOAP UI, GW GT Framework
- Scripting: JavaScript, Python
- Java/J2EE technologies (EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Web Services, JMS, JPA)
- Experience with Edge API Layer and digital portals
- Integration using XML and GOSU
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure
- **Certifications**:
Relevant technology or process certifications are a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with cloud-based environments
- Certification in API/UI automation testing
- Knowledge of insurance industry standards and regulations
