**Company**: Protek Bodies has been a manufacturer of high quality fiberglass utility truck bodies for over 40 years. Protek distributes their product throughout Canada from our Toronto facility.

Protek is currently looking to hire dedicated individuals to add to our growing team

**Responsibilities**:

- Create **2D and 3D CAD drawings** for metal fabrication projects using [insert specific CAD software, e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor].
- Design detailed **welding fabrication drawings** for various metal components and assemblies.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
- Modify and update existing CAD drawings as needed.
- Assist with material selection and review to ensure the drawings meet project specifications.
- Ensure all drawings are in compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Provide technical support to the production team to clarify design details and resolve issues.
- Manage drawing revisions and ensure proper version control.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a **CAD Operator** or similar role in **metal fabrication**.
- Expertise in creating **2D and 3D drawings** and **welding fabrication drawings**.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor).
- Solid understanding of metal fabrication processes and welding techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
