EllisDon carved out a new national construction group in 2021 with a focus on the construction of technical buildings such as Laboratories, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing facilities and Data Centers. We have completed over $2.5B in Data Centre projects and $16B in Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical buildings, we are strategically focused on the increased activity in these technical buildings post pandemic. Within a year of inception, we have a successful backlog of over $500M and have secured projects across Canada.

**You as a Project Manager, Mechanical & Electrical will**:

- Plan the mechanical and electrical components of a construction project and prepare a construction schedule in conjunction with the Project Superintendent and the Project Manager
- Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for the mechanical and electrical components of the job, and assists the Project Manager to ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings
- Monitor in conjunction with the Superintendent, a project’s material and labour costs for mechanical and electrical components and assure accurate quality reporting is being conducted
- Assist the Project Manager by leading project meetings, determining the status of the job in terms of scheduling and costing and solve complex technical issues
- Review mechanical and electrical changes received From the architect to ensure they are complete and up to standards and review subcontractor prices on these changes
- Lead an implement M&E quality control program to ensure subcontractor quality plan is being executed

**Is this the right role for you?
- You have a construction related degree/diploma or eight to ten years of mechanical and electrical construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
- Working knowledge of scheduling, project management and contract software
- Ability to confidently lead and delegate to a large team while coordinating construction between multiple trades to achieve building success
