The Construction/Building Worker will be responsible for maintaining both facilities and property (interior and exterior) at Cosmetica's primary and secondary location.

The schedule is set out by the Manager and in support of specific work projects. May include weekends, evenings, and night work.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Paints and refinishes walls, equipment, and machinery throughout the facilities.
- Assists in the building of walls, partitions and ceilings including shelving, racking. Finishes flooring and baseboards for all newly constructed areas.
- Moves, assembles, and sets up furniture, office systems and equipment.
- Performs minor plumbing repairs, replaces light bulbs, and runs network cabling.
- Performs tasks at height that may require ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work platforms such as installing signs, security cameras and any ceiling or at height mounted equipment throughout the facilities.
- Check on HVAC systems for operation and adjustment.

**Skills, Experience and Education Required**:

- High school graduate and equivalent work experience within a manufacturing facility
- Minimum 1 to 2 years experience within a manufacturing facility
- Trained in WHMIS and GMP
- Proficient in MSOffice suite of products (Word, Excel)
- Competence with hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to paint and construct with steel framing and drywall
- Ability to operate an elevated work platform
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

**Health & Safety**:

- Handle heavy material up to 25Kg, throughout the shift
- Manual dexterity
- Standing for long periods of time
- Constant movement of neck (head-tilting, turning left or right) and body
- Repetitive and/or forceful finger movements
- Constant wrist movement

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$20.02 per hour
