**Overview**

**Duties**
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and schematics to implement project specifications.
- Perform advanced carpentry and concrete forming, including layout, framing, finishing, and structural work.
- Utilize hand and power tools expertly and maintain safe work practices at all times.
- Collaborate closely with the site superintendent to plan work, coordinate tasks, and ensure project timelines and safety standards are achieved on all projects.
- Handle heavy lifting and physical construction tasks associated with site work and material handling.

**Qualifications**
- Red Seal (or equivalent) Journeyperson Carpenter certification required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a ticketed carpenter on residential or commercial projects.
- Demonstrated proficiency interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, with a strong track record of independent work.
- Exceptional skills in framing, finishing, and a wide range of carpentry techniques; restoration and multi-trade experience an asset.
- Excellent safety record and knowledge of current BC construction safety practices.
- Experience mentoring apprentices or leading on-site tasks is an asset.
- Proven reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physically fit and able to perform construction duties including lifting heavy materials, working at heights, and operating tools and equipment.

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
