Forjay Machine Shop is ISO 9001:2015 Certified: CNC milling and turning, Blanchard grinding. Machining and assembly of weld fixtures and check fixtures. From small quantity (prototype) to high quantity (production). Located minutes from the Windsor/Detroit border crossing allowing for short lead times and just-in-time (JIT) delivery.

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Shop Supervisor. Day Shift only 7am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday.

**Responsibilities**:

- Must be capable of programming and operating all the machines in the shop lathes, CNC grinders and manual equipment
- Will be required to operate machines as work load dictates and to cover any absences as needed
- Keep machines in good running order schedule maintenance and repair as needed
- Ensure that jobs are on-time and within the budget
- Provide QC Support
- Develop best case machining standards to better utilize shop resources and maintain customer schedules
- Maintain efficient safety according to company standards and achieve all plant operational goals
- Assist all plant personnel to ensure optimal level of quality for all internal and external customers
- Participate in all improvement meetings and provide training to all employees, provide support to all product development activities
- Provide training and evaluate working of all plant staff
- Ensure compliance to all company policies and ensure adherence to all regulations and assist human resource departments to complete all tasks
- Complete employee performance reviews in consultation with the Plant Manager

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum of 3 years experience in a management or supervisory role
- Ability to work with and motivate others in a team atmosphere
- Previous CNC Machine experience required
- High degree of leadership abilities
- High level of organizational skills and abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer oriented, reliable and dedicated
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent Computer skills

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour
