Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital (HGMH) is a patient-centred primary care hospital that has been established in Alexandria, Ontario for over 50 years. HGMH provides acute care, complex continuing care, 24-hour emergency services, and rehabilitation to over 23,000 residents every year. **Position Purpose**
The primary responsibility is performing accounts receivable billings and payments. This includes maintaining ledgers, credit balances and resolving account irregularities. This position also provides switchboard and receptionist services.
**Requirements**:
- College Diploma in Accounting
- Minimum of two years experience in Accounts Receivable.
- Superior level in spoken French and English, Intermediate level in written French and English (to be tested).
- Satisfactory result achieved in accounting job testing.
- Clear criminal records check
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles and ability to accurately calculate, post, correct and manage accounting records.
- Functional knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel and MS Word.
- Respectful and helpful towards patients and visitors.
- Displays excellent work ethic, honesty and teamwork.
- Resourceful and shows initiative.
- Proof of double COVID vaccination prior to interview.
