**Employment Requirements**:

- **Education and Qualifications**: The applicant is required to have completed secondary (high) school graduation certificate or completed an apprenticeship program for bakers for several years or several years of commercial baking experience.
- **Work Experience**: At least 1 year of experience working as a commercial Baker. As a Baker, you should have experience in preparing cakes, bread and other pastries from scratch, purchase baking supplies and ensure the quality of products.

**Language requirements**: English.
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins and other pastries.
- Prepare special and custom orders made by customers
- Bake mixed doughs and batters
- Frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods
- Ensure quality of products meets established standards
- Draw up production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods to produce
- Purchase baking supplies and maintain inventory
- Train junior bakers
- Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods

**Salary**: $18.00-$27.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
