**Direct Entry Apprenticeship in Mechanical Insulation**

**Job Title**:Mechanical Insulation Apprenticeship

**Possible Locations**: Vancouver Lower Mainland, Kelowna, Prince George, Vancouver Island

Insulation work is physical and requires well-trained and highly skilled technicians.

There is an exciting opportunity to join a Skilled Trades BC recognized Red Seal Construction Trade with a union apprenticeship sponsor. If this is the right fit, you could be a Red Seal Ticketed Journeyperson in as little as four years, without needing to take out any student loans.

Like all construction tradespeople, Insulators are required to travel to various jobsites; Therefore, access to a reliable vehicle is an asset. Without a vehicle, access to public transit is essential, because punctuality and consistent attendance are a top priority.

Experience as a construction labourer or construction site cleaner is an asset.

Proficient English is needed, as a safety requirement on work sites, and to be able to pass the technical training components later on.
