**Class 1 Driver**

We are licensed with the Ministry of Environment for the collection, handling and transportation of most non-hazardous liquid industrial, hazardous liquid and hazardous solid waste classes.

We are currently recruiting for a Class 1 driver to work out of our Maple Ridge, British Columbia Facility. This is a full-time, permanent position with a total compensation plan including:

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials
- Operate transportation equipment locally to pick-up and deliver hazardous and non-hazardous materials and supplies
- Adhere to vehicle weight limits and ensure proper utilization of Aevitas equipment
- Responsible for the proper placarding of vehicles to meet TDGA requirements/regulations
- Responsible for maintaining daily logs, daily vehicle inspections, trip reports, and expense reports
- Ensure equipment is always mechanically sound and in good working order

**Job Qualifications, Licences and Other Requirements**
- Must hold a Class 1 license and clear 5 year commercial driver’s abstract
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Successfully complete a criminal records background check and security clearance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.00-$32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
