Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for accurately billing and coding medical claims, ensuring timely reimbursement from insurance companies. Your role will contribute to the financial success of our medical practice by maintaining accurate and up-to-date billing records. Duties: - Review and verify patient information, including demographics and insurance details - Accurately code and submit medical claims to insurance companies using appropriate medical coding systems (e.g., CPT, ICD-10) - Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, identifying and resolving any billing discrepancies or issues - Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to resolve billing inquiries or disputes - Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) system with accurate billing information - Stay updated on changes in medical coding and billing regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards - Assist with other administrative tasks as needed Experience: - Previous experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role within a medical office setting - Proficient in medical terminology and coding systems (e.g., CPT, ICD-10) - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages. Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 44 per week
