- 2+ years **Siemens** experience - troubleshooting, plc programming, minor program changes
- 2+ years **Allen Bradley** experience - troubleshooting, plc programming, minor program changes
- 4+ years **panel assembly** and **install**:
- 2+ years doing **service calls**
- **442A license is a plus**
The **Panel Builder/Service Technician** is responsible for the assembly & installation of complete control systems using electrical schematics and operation sheets. This position requires employee to do work on occasion at customer sites within Canadaand around the world.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Assemble control panels by laying out components, mounting, and wiring them according to the electrical schematics.
- Cutting out enclosure plug locations and wiring them.
- Prepare operator consoles by knocking out pilot device holes, mounting pilot devices and wiring them. Installing din rail, terminals and other components necessary.
- Prepare junction boxes by installing din rail, terminals & pilot devices if necessary.
- Position, install and wire junction boxes on equipment by drilling & taping. (Some cases require a bracket to be made)
- Position, install and wire operator consoles & enclosures.
- Wire & install limit switches, proximity switches, photoelectric switches, motors, ultrasonic sensors and other electrical sensors or components mounted on the equipment. (Some cases require a bracket to be made)
- Prepare, install and wire all flexible conduits connecting all sections of the equipment together.
- Start-up Troubleshooting and basic electrical service calls..
- De-commission equipment for shipping.
- System commissioning and de-commissioning assistance at customer site.
Must be okay with traveling sometimes (during regular circumstances)
