**Position Goal**:
Water care and safety are of utmost importance for our hot tub and pool customers. The position goal is to provide the best customer service experience to the hot tub and pool owners regarding their questions or challenges about water care, chemicals, and accessories in our store. The pool and hot tub business is a fast-paced and fun environment to work in and we are seeking someone who is dependable, positive, and fun to be around.

**Job description**

We are looking for an energetic and positive individual to assist us with our daily retailing operations (water care chemicals and parts). This person must have strong organizational and communication skills. The ability to converse directly with customers and to assist with technical questions is key.

Training will be provided as this is a team-oriented, family business.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Build and maintain relationships with hot tub and pool customers
- Recommend products (water care chemicals) based on water care analysis and interpretation of results for customers (training will be provided)
- Inform customers of current promotions and events
- Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events
- Complete retail services transactions accurately and efficiently (using cash registers and software specific to the industry)
- Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues
- Answering phone calls, entering service calls, taking notes, and directing messages to the relevant team member

**Requirements**:

- Customer service focus
- Proven working experience (2 years) as a sales associate
- Hands-On Personality
- An upbeat, positive attitude
- Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Working knowledge of the customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Using office programs (excel and word)

**Experience**:

- Retail Associates & Cashiers: 2 years ((Hot tub/ pool store experience is a big plus)
- sales: 2 years (preferred)
- customer service: 2 years (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time and Part Time

**Salary**: $17.00-$21.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
