**_We are currently searching for a: Head of Manufacturing & Operational Excellence _**

The Head of Manufacturing and Operations Excellence oversees the Manufacturing Operations and is accountable for all performance metrics of manufacturing Operations (quality, productivity, daily output, safety) and fosters a quality culture, engagement, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Fosters a quality culture in all areas of the Operations to bring Operations to a world class medical device manufacturing company.
- Take responsibility and ownership for the delivery of defined manufacturing metrics and goals (quality, safety, delivery and cost)
- Engages the Operations in a continuous improvement and lean mindset
- Oversees a team of production technicians and manufacturing engineers.
- Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and meaningful.
- Takes disciplinary actions as required
- Establishes a long-term vision of the manufacturing organization, planning the necessary human resources, investment and facilities required to support volume growth.
- Owns the Quality Management System for all Manufacturing operations.
- Collaborates with key departments (R&D, Engineering and Quality) for the introduction of new products and processes in Manufacturing.
- Collaborates with Supply Chain, Human Resources and Finance to plan short and mid-term manufacturing needs based on forecast and delivery commitments.
- Ensures a safe work environment and that all safety related concerns are addressed timely.
- Engineering degree in a relevant field required (mechanical, electrical or industrial).
- 8 years of experience in a regulated Manufacturing environment.
- Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt certification preferred
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Thorough understanding of the Quality Management System in a Medical Device manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills.
- Strong managerial skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $120,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
