The Technical Support Advisor will have the responsibility of working with the technical services and product management teams to provide technical after sales service to HVAC-R technicians and to proactively help deliver training to customers and staff. This person will provide support to partners in Western Canada. This position is a hybrid role and can be based in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. Ability to travel is a requirement of this position.

**What you will accomplish with us**:

- Provide local tech support assistance for our factory partner brands.
- Assist customers in trouble shooting of our HVAC&R equipment brands. This assistance will be provided through phone, video conference and when required travel to job sites.
- Help resolve technical issues processing of special labor and material claims between contractor, Master Group and the manufacturer partners.
- Facilitate start-ups of HVAC and VRF equipment.
- Act as technical resource to the Master Group sales teams.
- Prepare and provide technical training and fulfill the objectives given by the product management director.
- To professionally represent Master Group Inc’s best interest at all times when interacting with internal teams, external customers and building owners.

**What You Bring to Our Team**:

- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Technical institute or college diploma in the HVAC-R or related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of field experience in the HVAC-R industry.
- Trouble shooting mechanical HVAC-R equipment and controls.
- Proficiency with computers and a moderate to advanced knowledge of MS Office and manufacturer based software.
- Working in a dynamic Team group.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Takes initiative and is resourceful.
- Functioning in a fast-paced environment requiring timeliness.
- Fundamental or advanced understanding of electrical wiring schematics.
- Basic ability to read building mechanical plans and specifications.
- Professionalism, diplomacy and courtesy.
- Proficient at writing reports.
- At ease presenting to people on technical and training material.
- Valid driver’s license.
