**Job purpose**

The Quality Control Coordinator works for a family-owned private real estate company located in Vaughan. The position location is in our project site offices in the GTA. At present, the location is our Kazmir Project in Etobicoke. Future project sites are mainly located in the city core.

The employee works in the high-rise department to ensure Quality Control and Pre-Delivery Inspections are performed at the highest level. Ensure superior quality is competently and consistently maintained and executed across all sites by providing excellent customer service and support to homeowners, construction staff, trade partners, and Property Management.

The individual will specialize in conducting professional, informative, and inclusive Pre-Delivery Inspections for our purchasers. Reporting to the Director of Customer Care, the Quality Control Coordinator will be self-motivated, driven, and result oriented.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Conduct unit checkout prior to QC/Pre-PDI inspections.
- Conduct Quality Control (QC) Inspections.
- Schedule Trades to complete QC deficiencies.
- Conduct the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) process with the site construction team.
- Coordinate PDI deficiencies with Trades.
- Follow up with Trades and Service Technician to ensure that all PDI deficiencies are completed prior to interim occupancy.
- Collaborate with Construction and Property Management.
- Prepares service documents for the department and service use.
- Explains warranty policies and procedures to homeowners.
- Inputs and tracks QC & PDI deficiencies in the PASS software system to enable accuracy.
- Document and track Common Element deficiencies reported at PDI.
- Coordinate Performance Audit deficiencies with Trade.
- Update and Track Performance Audit Common Element deficiencies via Builderlink.
- Collaborate with Property Management, Builder, and Board of Directors.
- Creates and maintains tracking lists of Trade performance as well as overall warranty performance.
- Report to Director on identifying potential issues and resolving problems.
- Willing to accept training and learn new skills while motivated to continually build knowledge as well as share expertise with others.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary Diploma or Degree.
- Minimum 3 years equivalent work experience with a Developer in the Customer Service field.
- Knowledge of the building industry and company operations.
- Expertise in Tarion Construction Performance Guidelines, including all updates.
- Experience with PASS customer service software is an asset.
- Sound knowledge of Tarion deadlines for warranties.
- Great knowledge of the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act.
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Ability to work both independently with mínimal supervision and in a team setting.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel and/or commute to the sites.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Salary commensurate with education and experience.
