Marshall Canada requires a Program Specialist, ILS/ISS in Ottawa, ON to join our team. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Program Specialist, ILS/ISS will lead the planning, development, and execution of ILS strategies in alignment with program objectives and contractual requirements. This role will act as the primary interface with government stakeholders for all ILS-related matters and oversee the coordination of logistics support activities across engineering, procurement, and supply chain teams.
**Your responsibilities in this role**:
**Project Management**:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for ILS tasks.
- Monitor project performance using metrics to ensure timely delivery and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Identify and mitigate risks affecting logistics support and program deliverables.
**Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)**:
- Manage all aspects of ILS, including maintenance planning, provisioning, technical documentation, and training.
- Ensure the development and delivery of logistics support analysis (LSA) and other technical documentation.
- Oversee the management of repair parts, tools, test equipment, and support infrastructure.
**Collaboration and Communication**:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve logistics and support challenges.
- Facilitate regular progress reviews with government customers and program leadership.
- Ensure seamless communication among team members, subcontractors, and government representatives.
**Compliance and Reporting**:
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and deliverables,
- Prepare and deliver status reports, presentations, and documentation for program reviews and audits.
Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in program scheduling within the defense or aerospace industry.
- Experience in using project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
- Demonstrable experience in preparing and costing proposals for customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with defense contract requirements and regulations is highly desirable.
- PMP or relevant project management certifications are a plus.
- Financial acumen.
Must be eligible to meet the requirements of export control regulations, including the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Canadian government security requirements.
