Part-time Food and Beverage Assistant- Ice Cream

Milksmith is looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about ice cream, learning all things sweet, as well as providing exceptional customer experience. We have a part-time casual position open for our ice cream parties. You will be facilitating group birthday parties at our shop, helping guests mix and create their own ice cream flavours, party set-up and tear down duties, as well as interacting with guests and running activities. Other duties may include:

- Preparing and serving: quality ice cream; beverages and food products for all guests
- Delivering exceptional customer service in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Communicating and building rapport with customers to ensure their needs are met
- Leading group activities
- Handling POS transactions (debit/credit/cash/gift card)
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area adhering to the highest health, safety and sanitation standards. Duties may include wiping down tables, changing garbages, washing dishes etc.
- Attending staff meetings as required
- Other duties as required

Job Qualifications:

- Availability to work the required shift(s) weekends
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable and great working with children
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast paced and team-oriented environment
- Reliable
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
