We are a growing healthcare organization with several clinics within the Greater Toronto Area. Our organization provides a wide spectrum of medical services and products within the healthcare industry.

We are currently looking for a **part-time** Medical Receptionist to join our busy Multidisciplinary clinic located in Thornhill. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to join a growing healthcare organization and build their career.

**Must be available one weekday from 9am - 7pm and Saturdays from 10am - 2pm.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information and any other necessary data
- Answering incoming calls and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller’s needs yourself
- Assist patients to complete all necessary forms
- Scheduling appointments for new and recurring patients
- Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and to help them schedule testing for off-site services
- Maintaining patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating person and financial information
- Process payments, patient billing, and medical insurance claims
- Inform patients of medical office procedures and policies
- Respond and comply to requests for information
- Maintain and manage patient records
- Handle mail and faxes

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience with EHC, MVA, WSIB, ODSP, and Slip & Fall
- Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations
- Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task

SALARY RANGE: Based on experience.
