**The Role**:
The Framer is responsible to assist in the structural framing of residential homes, demonstrate an extended knowledge of building systems and drive to produce quality work.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Back Framing_
- Following Health and safety processes at all times
- Strapping houses 1st, 2nd and basement living area
- Construction of drops, Bulk heads, stud straightening, finished basements and finished stairs.
- Building Frost walls and basement bulk headers
- Understanding how to read and follow working drawings
- Strict adherence of build sequence
- Being open minded to innovative building practice
- Material management
- Attending biweekly toolbox talk meetings
- Maintain a clean workplace at the end of every day
- Positive working attitude
- Prompt and consistent work attendance
- Truss Framing_
- Lifting trusses and sheeting roofs
- Installing truss hangers, t-bracing, Tyvek, and wind bracing
- Building lower roofs and creating lift points
- Reads building plans to install truss
- Conducts work safety and adheres to safety protocols
- Perform any other duties as required
- Maintain a clean workplace at the end of every day
- Floor Installation_
- Assist in the structural framing of residential homes
- Plate and grout foundations
- Set steel beams, steel post and wood post
- Review and follow working drawings
- Drop floors with mobile crane into place
- Conducts work safety and adheres to safety protocols
- Perform additional duties, as required
- Maintain a clean workplace at the end of every day
- Wall Installation_
- Following Health and safety processes at all times
- Being open minded to innovative building practice
- Maintain a clean workplace at the end of every day
- Communicate with crane operator
- Organize, clean and ready the work site prior to starting the lift
- Install wall panels with mobile crane
- Install floor systems with mobile crane
- Install prebuild roof system on to house
- Install lower prebuilt roof systems
- Perform any other duties as required

**You will bring**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in framing, back framing, construction, labour or related field
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Safety certification in Working at Heights, WHMIS, WSIB
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality
- Excellent communication & communication skills
- Motivated to work hard and be a contributing team member
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Demonstrated organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize
