**Non-Ferrous Scrap Metal Recycling**

RAM’s highly trained and experienced staff, utilize the latest in specialized equipment to collect, sort and process all varieties of Non-Ferrous metals. Our streamlined recycling techniques maximize the recovery of iron to increase value to various mills and foundries in Canada and abroad.

We are growing and need one Shear Operator to join our team at our head office location.

**Now that you know about us, we want to know more about you We are looking for someone who can**:

- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner
- Operate a stationary shear and excavator with a shear
- Conduct a daily pre and post inspection of equipment, and record the results
- Use hand signals, and CB radio to communicate amongst staff as appropriate
- Move material as appropriate throughout yard, this can include stocking bundles and materials as appropriate
- Cut material using the stationary shear
- Stack material to prepare for load shipments
- Move material to organize and prepare the yard
- Clean roadway and paths as appropriate using magnet device
- Load trucks with various materials
- Other duties as assigned

**We think it would be awesome if you have**:

- Minimum two (2) years of experience operating an excavator with the shear attachment
- Heavy Equipment Operator certificate is an asset
- Experience working in a scrap yard is an asset
- Knowledge of metals is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:
