**Qualifications**:

- Master’s in nursing required
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
- Minimum five (5) years recent nursing experience related to Acute Medical/Surgical Care required
- Minimum five (5) years recent nursing experience
- Minimum two (2) years of teaching experience, or equivalent, preferably in a postsecondary setting
- Current BCLS certifications, immunizations and mask fit required
- Simulation training and experience required
- Excellent record of teaching experience along with relevant work/community experience in the professional field or discipline appropriate to the area of instruction
- Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary setting

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach in the Bachelor of Practical Nursing Program
- Work closely with students and colleagues to provide a dynamic learning environment
- Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment, including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities, curriculum development, and community liaison
