The LMI Specialist, in partnership with the Community Engagement Coordinator, will organize hiring fairs, attend monthly community partnership meetings (Chamber of Commerce, etc.), and produce and distribute a weekly Labour Market Newsletter.

Essential Qualifications and

**Required Skills**:

- Degree, diploma, or post-secondary certificate in Marketing, Communications, Commerce, Career Practitioner, Employment Development, or Vocational Rehabilitation
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a research and communications role, ideally with a focus on the areas of employment support, business, politics, psychology, culture, or economics
- Demonstrated initiative to find new labour market resources and keep updated on news and trends related to employment, business, economics, housing, immigration, and technology
- Proven attention to detail when reviewing and preparing documentation and recording information
- Impart verbal and written information in a clear, professional, positive, accessible, and engaging manner
- Write with a neutral voice and plain language, with proven experience adapting communication style to different audiences
- Demonstrate skills in group facilitation and delivery of LMI information to individuals with all learning levels and abilities
- Valid BC Driver’s license for occasional work-related travel
